Overview:
The Inventory Control Analyst is responsible for analyzing and coordinating the ongoing logistical functions of Alliance Laundry Systems, including the entire life cycle of a product. This position will analyze and coordinate the acquisition, distribution, internal allocation, delivery, and final disposal of resources. The inventory control analyst position will support plant operations.This position provides a great opportunity to learn various facets of the manufacturing process. Collecting inventory and sales dataIdentifying and analyzing discrepanciesDeveloping and improving inventory control systemsMaintaining detailed records of transactionsVerifying inventory counts within a timely manner.Maintaining communication with manufacturing, scheduling, buyers and purchasing on inventory concerns.Analyze and correct system errors due to inventory moves, bill of material errors, ECN changes, etc.Performs inventory system updates, including adjusting SAP based on findings and communicating any discrepancies to the appropriate parties.Processes a variety of inventory adjustmentsTracks material flow process for raw and semi-finished materialsAccurately troubleshoot and resolve inventory and purchasing problemsAnalyze inventory data to identify areas for improvement, such as stock levels, accuracy, and rotation
Qualifications:Knowledge/Experience:Bachelors degree in business, operations, supply chain, or related field is required.Knowledge of material management systems desiredSAP experience preferredSkills and Abilities:Detail orientedCommunicate clearly and effectively.Active listening and interpersonal skills.Self-motivatedAbility to work in a fast paced, high-pressure environment.OrganizedAble to manage their time well.Work in a time-sensitive environmentTravel between different facilities.Computer skills with proficiency in MS office programsMust be able to work independently and with team membersPhysical Requirements:Position involves sitting for long periods, walking, standing, manual dexterity, stooping, bending and minimal lifting.Work is performed both in the manufacturing plant as well as office settings
