The Global Pricing Team is looking for a Software Pricing/Operations Analyst to focus on our state, local and federal GSA (General Services Administration) contracts related to our SAS offerings. This includes performing pricing and market analysis and the implementation of pricing for SAS products and solutions within the government market as well as guiding monetization and pricing strategy across SAS portfolio to leverage pricing as a strategic business lever. This role will also research and analyze the competitive pricing environment, government market, and future trends and make recommendations based on those findings.Our team operates collaboratively at the intersection of Product Management, R&D, Marketing, Strategy, Sales, Operations, Legal, and Finance providing support and advising executive management on all dimensions of our pricing and monetization strategy across all SAS offerings globally. Candidates will be able to propose pricing and go-to-market strategies that align to corporate strategy and objectives, customer expectations, and financial goals. This will include strategic pricing research methodologies, price sensitivity analysis, and an ability to balance between optimizing for different outcomes.
As a
Pricing/Operations Analyst - GSA, you will:Own local, state, and/or federal GSA contracts related to SAS offerings including overseeing initiation, negotiation, and execution of GSA contracts in compliance with all government regulationsStreamline contract operations and maintain efficient communication channels with government agenciesMaintain accurate records of contract terms, amendments, and modifications, ensuring adherence to local, state, and/or federal GSA regulations and guidelines in coordination with legal and sales operationsServe as the primary point of contact for GSA products contract inquiries and communications, providing timely and accurate responsesMaintain and add products to GSA schedule, GSA Advantage and state schedules on a quarterly (or as-needed) basisStay informed about updates and changes to local, state, and/or federal GSA regulations, communicating relevant information to internal stakeholdersOwn systems and tools related to Global Pricing and Corporate Offering Optimization and LogisticsEnsure process execution delivering accurate pricing in our systems in a timely mannerAdvise and collaborate with Global Pricing and product management, providing operational insights and managing cross-functional projectsRegularly reviews and checks pricing information to ensure it is up to date and correctAnalyze market/competitive trends and customer segmentation to optimize for acquisition, expansion and/or retention and find the right balanceFormulate new and innovative GSA pricing strategies and packaging plans to support changing business climatesManage data model for transactable items by setting up SKUs and offering codes including pricing and other attributes necessary for downstream modules from Oracle Product HubCommunicate complex concepts effectively and ensure all pricing and licensing model recommendations are in compliance with financial standards and go to market readyManage and audit pricing data, addressing process gaps and supporting the product lifecyclePerform other related duties as assigned
Required QualificationsProven experience in local, state, and/or federal GSA contract administration, specifically focused on software and technology salesMeticulous attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a deep understanding of GSA contract procedures and the ability to interpret complex contract terms and conditionsAbility to think critically to identify issues and offer pragmatic, actionable solutionsContract negotiation skills, including a solid understanding of common legal and business terms and conditions and the ability to effectively explain ones position to othersExperience confronting conflicts directly and respectfullyDemonstrated ability to simply communicate complex concepts or requirementsDeep sense of curiosity with critical thinking and problem-solving skillsMicrosoft Excel, Oracle PDH, and CPQ pricing systems/toolsYoure curious, passionate, authentic and accountable.
