Marketing/Communications Internship - Sacramento
Westervelt Ecological Services specializes in restoring and conserving wetlands, streams, and endangered-species habitat across the U.S. This paid position aims to support the marketing team and gain marketing experience in the environmental field.
Responsibilities include:Assist in content creation for company social media accounts, web content, collateral, etc.Author content to support digital marketing to include social media and email campaigns.Photograph and record video of habitats and staff at our mitigation sites.Edit and compile footage for use on all digital channels.Collaborate across departments to gather information and successfully execute work.Support the marketing team in daily administrative tasks.Qualifications:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Comfortable working in an outdoor environment.Ability to effectively work in a team environment.Familiarity with social media strategies and platforms. Background in Hootsuite preferred.Solid understanding of different marketing techniques.Applicants must be enrolled in classes for the 2025 Spring Semester pursuing a degree in marketing, business administration, communications, or related field.
This position will be based out of Sacramento, California. Work schedules will be adjustable to meet intern availability and project requirements.
The basesalary range for this position is $20 - $22.
