Job Description Buyer Aftermarket ( **Job Number:**297947 ) **Description****JOB SUMMARY:**Supply Chain Management knowlege of various manufacturing non-product services focusing on office and marketing services .**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:**- Supports and conducts strategic sourcing (RFIs, RFQs, RFPs) projects for Information Technology commodities and collaborates with internal customers on requirements and selection criteria. Leads supplier contract negotiations, re-negotiations, and contract amendments and addendums in support of Textrons and business unit strategic direction. Develops and implements negotiations strategies that have financial impacts to the company.- Maintains and supports existing contracts with amendments, SOW changes and extensions.- Act as a liaison in arranging meetings between potential suppliers and internal customers.- Understands and utilizes supply chain management strategies to drive breakthrough performance in current metrics and future metrics.- Develops and maintains strong working relationships with a broad spectrum of internal customers including staff across the Textron business units.- Monitors respective markets and provides market insight to business teams.
