About the RoleThis role provides an impactful opportunity to drive finance business partnership and strategy at a hyper-growth company. We are looking for a Finance Manager who will help support our Fraud operations with efficient & cost-effective strategies to protect good customers from bad actors and would-be fraudsters on our platform. You will partner with teams across the business including Strategy & Operations, Analytics, Accounting, Product GMs, and Finance, covering all of our key fraud areas including chargebacks, Consumer fraud, Dasher fraud, and account takeovers. You will develop and own financial models and be a proactive presence to our business partners to evaluate opportunities to further improve the financial cost of fraud on our platform.

We are looking for a Manager who will help to build our team's strategy and ensure we are making efficient, data-driven decisions. You will become an expert in DoorDash business practices and develop a thorough understanding of how all the parts of the business fit together. A successful manager will be able to make recommendations that cater to our customers, merchants, and dashers to align with our overall financial and business goals.

Help us protect good customers from bad actors and improve public trust in the platform

Analyze operational/financial data, uncover new fraud trends/vectors, and assess current/future business risks and opportunities

Own financial models and analyses to prioritize investments needed to combat fraud

Work with cross-functional partners to develop new processes and policies

We’re excited about you because…

6+ years of strategic finance, corporate finance, investment banking, or fraud financial analyst experience in a high-growth technology sector

Ability to influence cross functional partners at all levels

Experience influencing financials for various teams and initiatives

Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills. Able to build robust financial models used by F&S teams throughout the company

Basic SQL proficiency (or strong willingness to learn)
