Brown Convention Center events.Responsibilities:Support VP/GM by ensuringdaily operations of Levy Restaurants Food and BeveragePlan and coordinate events, including conferences, expos, exhibits, corporate events, galas, and social gatherings. Develop event timelines and schedules to ensure smooth execution.Manage all staff, including, bartenders, cashiers, subcontractors, and other personnel.Provide guidance to the team by fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.Provide support in conducting regular BEOmeetings with departments to communicate goals, expectations, and ensure alignment with company policies.Liaising with catering services, and outside vendors, supervising their requirements and logistics based on event.Qualifications:Experience in event based management, hospitality, front of house, or similar preferred. Minimum of Associate s Degree preferred.Two to four years restaurants, concession and beverage management experience is requiredComprehensive food and wine knowledge. Applicant should be well versed on food and wine pairingsRequires operations management experience with purchasing knowledgeExcellent communication and computer skills are needed, including POS.Knowledge of safety measures and risk management strategies.
