We're looking for an active customer-focused team player with exceptional sales skills to be the next sales manager at our busy hotel. You'll be in charge of developing a sales and marketing plan that includes soliciting new and existing accounts to meet and exceed revenue targets via outside sales calls, on-site visits, sales tours, and community networking. This energetic leader will be able to enhance revenue by researching local market trends and competition behavior to discover and close business leads. Solicit new and existing accounts to meet and exceed revenue targets through outside sales calls, on-site visits and sales tours, and networking in the local community.Conduct yourself as a professional representative of the hotel at various industry tradeshows and conferences, adhering to the guidelines of the budget and marketing plan.Study and research local market trends and competitor activity to discover potential leads.Develop and maintain connections with important group and catering accounts in order to maintain and expand our market share.Responsible for developing, soliciting, and maintaining accounts in a defined market segment with peak rooms of 44 or less.Qualifications:

Understands how to communicate, negotiate, and network effectively.Must have previous sales experience working in the hospitality industry.Good organization and time management skills.Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED; a bachelor’s degree in business or a similar field is a plus.Delphi experience preferred.
