The Manager of Sales Training is responsible for leading the Sales Development Associates cohort, leading sales training for the Sales Development Program as a whole and coordinating recruiting efforts with university partners across the country. Support for the program may include content creation, facilitating training, recruiting events, conducting interviews, event/meeting planning and coordination of training and schedules across multiple departments and locations within Bunzl Distribution.

Responsibilities:

Lead high potential recent graduate training program referred to as the Sales Development Associate program.Work closely with university partners to support their sales programs and recruit the next wave of Sales Interns and Sales Development Associates.Coordinate with vendors and internal departments to coordinate training.Organize and lead recruiting, training and team building events with Sales Development Associates, Sales Representatives and current candidates.Continuous building and refinement of training curriculum in line with the Distribution Division's strategies.Collaborate with Talent Development and market leadership to identify high performing salespeople.Create new methods and tools for communicating Bunzl's value proposition.Act as a mentor and leader to all salespeople within the Sales Development Program.Create content, case studies, presentations, etc. that support Sales Development Program learning objectives.Create case studies, presentations, and content to support market recruiting efforts at universities.Create knowledge checks to assess trainee's retention of concepts.Conduct interviews to sift through applicants to the Sales Development Program.Coordinate travel and training schedules with market leadership, corporate leadership, and members of the Sales Development Program.Oversee onboarding experience of new Sales Representatives and Sales Development Associates.Organize and Lead recruiting efforts across market teams.Implement technology to deliver training materials and organize members of the Sales Development Program.Perform other job-related duties as required and assigned.Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree Required.5+ Years of sales experience.Sales leadership experience preferred.Exceptional facilitating skills.Must be flexible in managing constantly changing priorities and dealing comfortably with ambiguity.Ability to monitor multiple projects simultaneously.Must have effective interpersonal skills, as well as expert oral and written communication skills.Must have demonstrated strong employee and customer orientation.Must demonstrate ability understand and relay P&L metrics.Periodic multi-night travel is required.
