What will you do?GENERAL SUMMARY: Under general monitors warehouse inventory and performs cycle counting duties to ensure all materials are properly verified and reflective of reported inventory. Also assists Warehouse, Production and Customer Service in locating materials when necessary.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Cycle count materials throughout WarehouseResearch inventory discrepancies and submit accurate inventory and bin location reportsAssist in determining root causes of inventory discrepancies and help implement corrective actions to eliminate repetitive errorsAssist with locating and pulling materialsParticipate in general housekeeping (5S) duties within work areaCross-train and rotate though various stations within department as needed to provide additional supportConduct on-the-job training for newly hired and/or transferred employees
What qualifications will make you successful?
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Abilities:General knowledge of manufacturing or warehouse environment (preferred, but not required)Proficient with personal computer basic math skillsMust hold a valid driver's license and able to obtain forklift certification upon hire if not certified priorEducation:
High School Diploma or GED requiredExperience:
Entry-level position. No experience required, but data entry experience is beneficial.Physical Requirements:
Must be able to safely lift up to 22 lbs. regularly throughout shift. Overhead lifting and standing for periods of time throughout shit are essential to successfully performing job duties.Schneider Electric's screening process includes substance abuse screening, verification of employment eligibility, and a 7-year background check. Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
