What will you do?GENERAL SUMMARY: Under general supervision operates lasers and machines to press parts.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES:Read blueprintsOperate large press brakeData entryRead calibersOperate standup forkliftBasic math calculationsOperate T-LaserSPCs on parts for toleranceOperate crane lift and pallet jackInspection of product upon completion to ensure quality and accuracyAttention to detailParticipate in general housekeeping (5S) duties within work areaPerform general preventative maintenance (PM) tasks on area equipment as neededCross-train and rotate through various stations within department as needed to provide additional supportConduct on-the-job (OTJ) for newly hired and/or transferred employeesReport material and equipment problems to appropriate personnelParticipate in meetings to resolve production issues and interface with other shifts and support groups as neededOther duties as assigned

What qualifications will make you successful?JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Abilities:General knowledge of manufacturing and hand tools (Press Brake experience preferred)Adaptable to rotation of workstation throughout shiftBasic computer skillsGood dexterityMust have valid Driver's License to obtain forklift certification upon hireEducation:

High School Diploma or GED requiredExperience:

Entry to Mid-level.Physical Requirements:

Must be able to safely lift up to 22 lbs. unaccompanied and up to 80 lbs. with a partner. Must be able to stand for eight (8) hours. Occasional stooping, bending, twisting, and overhead lifting throughout shift.Schneider Electric's screening process includes substance abuse screening, verification of employment eligibility, and a 7-year background check.
