For more information, visit Tricon Residential.Job DescriptionThis position will be responsible for developing in Tricon's Appian environment(s), leading a team of Developers, and ensuring best practice is followed within the environment. This position must manage and maintain the health of the environment and should take proactive measures to ensure proper performance. This role requires collaboration, mentorship, and a willingness to work in a strong team setting to accomplish common goals. Development of the application is fast-paced and complex, so this position must leverage a deep understanding of the Appian platform to implement robust, well-performing solutions to the business with a mix of production fixes and net-new enhancements.

Lead the architecture and design of Appian solutions and related systemsDevelop custom Appian solutions based on business requirementsIntegrate Appian with other business systems as required using modern API and integration solutionsUtilize the Appian AppMarket to recommend pre-built plug-ins and implement them when neededDesign Appian architecture and dependencies for optimal performancePlan and strategize for Appian platform upgrades and how to incorporate new features into existing processesDocument workflows and integration points post-projectComplete code/peer review for other developersIdentify performance improvement initiatives and execute on those recommendationsFollow Scrum development methodologies closelyWork with various team members to analyze requirements and translate those into Appian solutionsFollow best practices for Appian platform developmentPrepare for and perform deployments and upgradesPerform automated regression and unit testing prior to release; report on findingsWork with QA team to develop test casesDemonstrate newly-developed solutions to the businessMentor a team of Appian Developers (onshore and offshore) working within the Appian environmentWrite custom sql queries against the database to perform analysis/troubleshooting and retrieve audit data as neededProactively identify and communicate issues, risks, progress to business and IT stakeholders, providing options and next steps.Additional Job Description

QUALIFICATIONS:Minimum of 7 years' experience developing in AppianHands-on experience in Appian with in-depth knowledge on Process Models, SAIL Interfaces, Web APIs, Integration SDK, Sites, Process Model as a Service, Admin Console, Document Management, and Integration Smart ServicesKnowledge of webservices and integrationKnowledge of SDLC and ability to participate in all phasesExperience working on Agile Scrum projectsExperience or working knowledge of the following technologies:

Understanding of development languages and integration technologiesRelational databases management systems, data modeling, database design and SQL (interaction with the php MyAdmin MySQL database)Strong problem solving and design skills with Appian-specific BPM development
