What you will be doing:
Provide support and coaching to employees at all levels (management to non-management) on HR practices and processes, utilizing conflict resolution techniques to ensure team cohesion.Ensure legal compliance with HR state and federal regulations and applicable employment laws, updating policies and/or procedures as required.Support the recruitment process and prepare paperwork and schedules for smooth new-hire onboarding, coordinating with cross-functional departments to deliver an exceptional first-day experience.Ensure regulatory compliance including EEOC, ADA, FMLA, and WPFML.Facilitate the scheduled performance review process, providing guidance, tools, and training for managers and employees.Maintain up-to-date personnel information and files.Escalate personnel-related issues as necessary.Manage workers' compensation claims.Process bi-monthly payroll via a third-party payroll service.Participate in the Company Safety Committee.Experience you will need:
Bilingual - English & Spanish required.Strong leadership skills.Training and development skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Detail-oriented.Ability to work independently.Proficient with Microsoft and Excel.Proficient in HR software and technology.Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field required, OR 5-8 years of progressive HR experience.SHRM-CP required.Human Resources Generalist
