Job Title - PMO Governance Lead
Location - Irving, TX (Onsite)
Experience Level: 12+ years
Our customer is looking for a Product Implementation Governance Lead
He / she will report to the Product Implementation PMO Office
He/ She will spend time in understanding customer's current process of their product implementations, streamline it, redefine it , and implement Product implementation governance strategy for this the product implementation..
In this journey, He will be responsible for defining the overall process, reviewing with senior stakeholders and getting into concurrence on the plan forward.
Develop, implement, optimize, and govern PMO processes, dashboards, templates, policies, and metrics to drive optimal delivery of the IT Product implementation for their customers.
Monitor compliance of project teams to PMO policies and standards.
Provide IT leaders with the information needed to assess and prioritize projects with the highest potential value, impact, and/or strategic alignment.
Below are some of the responsibilities expected.
Overall PMO governance experience including (but not limited) to the below:
Project In-take process
Project Sizing Assessment (PSA) - S, M, L XL etc.
Waterfall methodology and related phase gates creation, management and governance
Experience creating new templates, enhancing existing templates - some examples below:
Risk Register
BRD
Project Kick-off documents/check list
Client Validation Testing - library of standard test cases and custom as needed per customer.
Change Management
Establish product implementation close-out processes.
Ability to present to senior executives from cross-functional organizations.
Ability to influence and drive PMO governance from top to bottom and vice versa.
Define KPIs to assess the health of the Product implementation.
Ensure IT PMO processes align to Product Implementation methodologies (i.e., waterfall, agile, scrum, etc.)
Effectively communicate progress of portfolio alignment across various stages of their life cycle.
Maintain a thorough understanding of the upcoming product implementation roadmap to utilize our existing technology investments for faster outcomes.
