General Purpose of the Position
:This position is responsible for all areas of contract negotiation, management, and administration in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and record retention specifications.
Supervisory Responsibilities:This position carries out no supervisory responsibilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
:
Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial contracts relating to the Switch ecosystem such as vendor and procurement contracts, colocation agreements, and telecommunications agreementsManage projects and contract negotiations from beginning to end by reviewing draft contracts, preparing redlines, collaborating with teams across Switch, leading contract negotiation calls, and efficiently bringing deals to a favorable closeCollaborate with the team to maintain and update existing templates and contracting processesCoordinate between departments to facilitate completion and execution of various projectsSupport implementation of existing agreements, policies, and practicesPrepare reports and transaction memos and perform legal researchReview and update policies and proceduresSupport corporate transactions and other special projects as neededPerform other assignments or duties as needed to support the Switch Legal teamRequired Job Skills

Strong knowledge and understanding of legal documentsExcellent analytical, written, and verbal communication abilitiesIndependent judgment for issue identification and creative resolutionsExcellent customer service in working with various departments and customersAbility to manage a high-volume workload in a fast-paced environmentExcellent organizational and time management skills to meet competing deadlinesStrong attention to detailAbility to successfully tackle new projectsWillingness to assist the legal team in a wide variety of matters
Computer Equipment and Software

Intermediate working knowledge of various software applications including Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), DocuSign and AdobeAdvanced understanding of contract and file management solutions
Education and Experience
:Education:
Minimum of Associate's degree required, Bachelor's degree preferredJuris doctor a positiveExperience:
5-7 years of contracts administration experienceProcurement experience requiredData center and/or telecommunications experience a positive, but not requiredPhysical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
