The STV Project Management team provides comprehensive Owner’s Representative and Move Management services to assist clients throughout the entire project delivery process—from definition of need through design, construction, relocation and closeout. We provide these services on a variety of projects in major markets, including Corporate, Academic, Healthcare, High-Tech & Manufacturing, Industrial, Laboratory & Life Science, Non-Profit and the Public Sector.
Capitalizing on our long history of providing exceptional service, we are seeking a Director of Business Development to develop new project opportunities in the Greater Boston and Rhode Island areas. The position reports to the Senior Vice President of Operations and will be responsible for the planning, development and execution of new business development strategies and activities within the Higher Education, Life Science, Healthcare and Public Sector markets. The position will:
Work with the management team to develop short and long term business development strategies
Participate in industry associations, seminars, trade shows and events to develop market awareness
Network with industry professionals to identify opportunities
Create an outreach program (calls, email, etc.) that will generate meetings and develop relationships with targeted clients
Conduct sales presentations with project management staff
Work with project teams to develop “win strategies” and content for proposals and presentations
Conduct appropriate follow-up to complete the sales process
The candidate must be a self-motivated and positive team player with a minimum of 10 years of experience and a proven track record of success in new business development. We require the following:
Background in commercial construction, design, architecture, real estate or a facilities-related field
Strong interpersonal, communication & writing skills
Extreme attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to understand client perspective and business goals
Proficiency in MS Office required. CRM experience a plus
Compensation Range:
$138,562.00 - $184,750.00
