SAP Business System Analyst

Job Title: SAP ERP Business Analyst Location: Simi Valley, CA Job Type: 6-Month Contract (No C2C, Short-term contract. Not contract to hire) Pay Rate: $60 - $67 per hour IMPORTANT: Experience as an SAP ERP Analyst, specifically in the areas of supply chain and manufacturing, is mandatory. Job Overview: We are seeking an SAP ERP Business Analyst to support a key division specializing in Plant Safety & Power Systems. This role will focus on assisting with critical technology deployments and integration initiatives, aligning with the divisions strategic IT and digital objectives. You will work closely with business leaders, cross-functional teams, and both internal and external technical groups to deliver IT solutions. Key Responsibilities: ERP Support & Implementation: Serve as the ERP subject matter expert, offering support throughout system configuration, testing, and deployment processes. Solution Development: Partner with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, analyze current workflows, and design technical/functional solutions to meet business needs. Data Insights & Reporting: Perform data mapping, analyze datasets, and develop reports and insights to inform decision-making. Change Facilitation: Lead efforts in change management, including training and communication, to support the adoption of new processes and systems. Project Support: Assist in planning, scheduling, and monitoring project activities. Ensure projects stay on track by managing timelines, deliverables, and dependencies. Process Optimization: Identify areas for improvement within IT systems and processes, offering recommendations and implementing solutions. Issue Resolution: Conduct root cause analysis of system issues and lead problem-solving efforts to ensure timely resolution. Cost-Benefit Analysis: Prepare cost-benefit analyses and suggest improvements to enhance business processes and efficiency. Qualifications: Bachelors Degree or equivalent in a related field, with relevant certifications preferred. Minimum of 5 years of IT experience, with significant focus on ERP systems. Proven expertise in managing ERP and business processes within a manufacturing environment. Must have direct experience with SAP ERP in the supply chain and manufacturing areas (experience with Infor Visual ERP is a plus). Knowledgeable in the full IT lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and project/change management. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, both written and verbal. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to document complex business processes. Critical thinker with a demonstrated ability to make effective decisions. Willingness to travel, as required.
