Automation Solution Architect / Engineer

The Automation Enablement Center is seeking a Technical Solution Architect with strong engineering and system design experience to contribute toward the success of our automation solutions. Researches, models, and integrates business and technology architectures to align with business strategy, goals and objectives; defines and recommends appropriate tools and approach. Investigates new technologies and tools (including vendor solutions); evaluating associated risks. Creates architectural principles to support business goals. Consults with business line managers and IT professionals to develop IT frameworks that support business applications. Understands and models key business capabilities, processes, relationships, and impact of technology on business goals. Formulates conceptual architectures, creates architectural blueprints as documentation of design and systems integration and communicates architectural vision, goals and design objectives to multiple audiences. Consults with IT and business management regarding use of specific technologies and associated services. Ensures projects are designed within approved enterprise architectural standards and are implemented successfully. Coordinates communication to management and teams regarding project development, strategy and goals. Coach and mentor teams in technical use.

Preferred Skills/Experience

10+ years of related experienceThorough knowledge of development languages, solution design, application and infrastructure planning/designExperience with automation suites (Automation Anywhere, WorkFusion, UIPath, etc)Advanced technical (application development/programming), logical, analytical and problem-solving skillsConsiderable knowledge in system integration and business process modelingThorough understanding of the enterprise architectural blueprint requirements and the impact on business functionsExcellent planning and organizational skills with focus on producing quality resultsExcellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and strategic thinking with understanding of upstream/downstream impacts.
