Tacombi is looking for an Area Sales Manager to join our team!
The Area Sales Manager will build our brand equity with retailers, distributors and
brokers. The ASM will work with their manager to further the development, sales, and promotion of Vista Hermosa products and build brand loyalty both nationally and at store level.
Your responsibilities will include:Complete weekly sales and merchandising calls on accounts (including Natural Specialty Food Stores, Chain Accounts, Foodservice, including new account opportunities, Etc.)Identify and communicate opportunities in influencer accounts/routes/neighborhoodsCommunicate successes, competition trends, deals, product introductions and opportunities via weekly and monthly sales recaps to their managerExecute available trade promotions at store level to maximize brand potential and eliminate out of stock situationsLeverage key data sources to develop fact-based plans and solutions for closing voids and driving volumeIdentify accounts that can be maximized with sampling and communicate to the marketing managerExecute P.O.S., rack, and other secondary placement opportunities using tools provided from their managerBuild and maintain a relationship with distributors, brokers and merchandising companies and their respective management, office staff, and operations to maximize brand potentialEnsure P.O.S. availability at the distributor and communicate needs to their managerCheck inventory levels at the distributors and communicate potential problems to their managerAttend sales calls with distributor sales force, broker reps and merchandising companies on a consistent basis to develop relationships and maximize brand opportunities in the trade and open new businessDevelop and present distributor and broker facing presentations to communicate goals, sales strategies and best in class executionYou should have:
Deeply passionate about the Vista Hermosa brand, inspired by what we represent, and have a desire to make an impact with your careerObsession for understanding customer behavior: lives, breaths and dreams about how to better reach andunderstand our buyersEnthusiastic and comfortable working in a start-up organization (think rapidly growing / changing environment)Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field2-4 years of experience in salesStrong planning, organizational, and project management skills along with excellent interpersonal, written/oral communication and presentation skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook)Ability to take initiative and work autonomously - you can run with something from beginning to endWorks well with ambiguity - can navigate in the grey and asks the right questions to get at the solutionAnalyze opportunities quickly and have an ability to execute company goals efficientlyResourcefulness to improvise and adapt to deal with daily challenges via creative problem solvingClean driver's license, reliable transportation and proof of insuranceWhy Tacombi:
