Now Hiring: Event Sales Representative

The Event Sales Representative position is an essential member of the Puttshack Sales team. The sales representative will be responsible for booking and executing social events for group sizes of 13-24 guests as well as supporting the sales team with daily and weekly administrative tasks. The ideal Event Sales Representative candidate has prior experience in hospitality, event management and coordination. They possess excellent guest service skills, are self-motivated, and willing to take initiative. This is an entry level position, providing an opportunity to join a growing company while supporting a high-volume sales team in a fast-paced environment.

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:Sell and execute small social events in total by negotiating, executing the contract, making food and beverage offerings, and providing and supervising a customized event for each guest/client.Answer phones and respond to voicemails, emails, and inquiries within 24 business hours while maintaining communication with potential clients.Qualify incoming event leads and assign to Sales Managers for all corporate and social events of 25 or more, and assign to self for social events of 13-24 guestsCollaborate with clients to understand their event needs and preferences, ensuring exceptional service and client satisfaction.Fully utilize Tripleseat events software for party bookings. This includes but is not limited to fielding leads through email and by phone, managing events calendar, creating BEOs (Banquet Event Orders), securing payment and documenting all correspondence within the software notes.Serve as the point of contact for venue leadership team for events, working closely with the Director of Operations, Hospitality Managers and Executive Chefs, Event Ambassadors and Game Techs.Manage the Golf Reservation system for events and verify the game is booked in the system and on the correct course. Troubleshoot any tech issues on the day of the event with the support of Home Office IT team if neededAttend and facilitate events alongside management teams to ensure smooth execution and address any issues that come up.Attend and participate weekly meetings with managers to present the weekly event agenda along with relevant BEOs.Input sales revenue following events in CRM, complete event closeouts and relay any discrepancies to Sales ManagerAssemble event information folders so they are readily available for walk in toursStock reception desk and cloak room with business cards and event collateral and replenish when inventory is lowComplete reports as needed, including forecasting, staffing and other Tripleseat reportsOther projects or duties as assigned.Required Skills and Experience:

2+ years of experience in sales or events related functionExcellent communication skills both written and verbalFamiliarity with reservation and booking platforms (e.g., OpenTable, EventBrite) and experience with Tripleseat Event Software or similar events software is preferred.Strong people skills and ability to maintain excellent guest service relations.Attention to detail and strong administrative, time, and project management skills for managing party and programming detailsDetail-oriented, results-driven, consistent, organized, and a reliable team playerExcellent organizational skills with the ability to establish priorities in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction.Self-starter able to problem-solve and work in a small office setting, taking on various tasks as needed and providing administrative support within the venue as needed and when askedWillingness to work varied hours and days based on business needs. Must be able to work onsite 5 days per week.Works well independently but also values collaboration.This position must pass a post-offer background.Preferred Skills and Experience:

Previous sales experience in restaurant or hospitality environment preferredPhysical Requirements:
