Additionally, youll collaborate with key stakeholders to meet unique requirements and work with hardware and software systems and platforms to deliver a system with robust capabilities. You will also install control programs and touch panel designs onsite, offsite, and remotely. In addition, a Programmer 2 is expected to review and validate the work of and mentor a Programmer 1 and Associate Programmer.Day-To-Day Responsibilities:Read and interpret AV systems drawingsGather programming requirementsCreate control modules, control code and user interfacesMentor other programmersPerform commissioning and acceptance testing of codeTest integrated systems and perform troubleshooting as neededDemonstrate completed system to clientCreate end-user and programming-related documentationMaintain and update programming code in installed systemsMaintain control code in version control repositoryManage projects using dev-ops platform to track issues, deploy releases and collaborateTravel to various job sites requiredWHAT WERE LOOKING FOR
Must-Haves:
Proficient with test and calibration equipment, in programming languages, in uploading and downloading software in embedded systems, and in control system design (Crestron, AMX, Extron, QSC)Solid communication and interaction with employees, clients, and colleagues as well as the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organizationAbility to diagnose and test complex system problemsAdvanced computer skills for the design, configuration, optimization and operations of AV equipmentEnergized self-starter capable of working and thinking independently and ensuring to meet deadlinesUnderstanding of computer networking and troubleshootingExceptional organizational skills and excellent attention to detailExcellent capability to switch tasks while adapting to changing prioritiesTwo years experience as an AVI-SPL Programmer 1 or three years similar experience outside of AVI-SPLCrestron Master Programmer or AMX Control Programmer Associate or equivalentMinimum High school diploma or equivalentValid Drivers License and a Motor Vehicle Record that meets AVI-SPL driving standardsNice-To-Haves:
Formal education in Electronics, Software Engineering, or related field preferredCTS (Certified Technology Specialist)Experience with C#, JavaScript, HTML-5, PowerShell, Git version controlExperience with Enterprise VC solutions (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Bluejeans, Cisco Telepresence etc.) both hardware and softwareWHY YOULL LIKE WORKING HERE
