We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Food Scientist with expertise in batter and bread commercialization to join our dynamic team.

Position Overview:

As a Food Scientist specializing in batter and bread commercialization, you will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and scaling up batter and bread formulations for production. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, quality assurance, and production, to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality, taste, and consistency. Your role will involve translating innovative concepts into commercially viable products and overseeing their successful launch into the market.

Key Responsibilities:

Formulation Development: Develop and optimize batter and bread formulations to meet product specifications and consumer preferences. Utilize food science principles to enhance texture, flavor, and shelf-life.

Commercialization: Lead the commercialization process for new batter and bread products. Collaborate with R&D, production, and marketing teams to ensure seamless transition from laboratory to full-scale production.

Process Optimization: Analyze and refine production processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain high product quality. Implement changes based on data and feedback from production trials.

Quality Assurance: Work with quality assurance teams to establish and monitor product quality standards. Conduct sensory evaluations, stability tests, and other assessments to ensure product integrity.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all formulations and processes comply with relevant food safety and regulatory standards. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and trends.

Troubleshooting: Address and resolve any issues related to batter and bread formulation or production. Provide technical support to resolve challenges and improve product performance.

Innovation: Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies. Contribute innovative ideas for new products and process improvements.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, or a related field. Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in food science with a focus on batter and bread commercialization. This is a requirement. Proven track record in developing and launching successful products in the food manufacturing industry.

Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of batter and bread formulation, ingredient functionality, and production processes. Proficiency in food chemistry, microbiology, and sensory evaluation techniques.

Project Management: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and work effectively under pressure.

Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present technical information clearly.

Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
