SUMMARY OBJECTIVE

Under limited supervision, enforce and secure compliance with all laws, regulations, and ordinances governing land use, minimum housing, property maintenance, abandoned and uninhabitable properties, signs, zoning, landscaping, and related environmental issues; and perform other related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or GED (Education will be verified) and one (1) year of experience in code enforcement, building or site inspections, issuing notices or citations, or any equivalent combination of training and experience.

Florida Association of Code Enforcement (F.A.C.E) Fundamentals of Code Enforcement is required or the ability to obtain within one (1) year of employment.

A valid Florida driver's license is required.

This is an FL Public Services Union- Service Employees International Union represented (SEIU) position.
