Description Position at GVW Group, LLC Research Analyst Opportunity with GVW Group-Shared Services South Africa Position: Research Analyst Using extensive research methodologies, you will perform detailed research for our team of recruiters, HR business partners, and executives, analyze the gathered data, and present your findings. You will play a vital role in sourcing and extracting valuable market information to benefit our organization. You will contribute to deriving valuable business insights and drive organizational success. We value curiosity, attention to detail, and a strong analytical mindset. Responsibilities Coordinate with Recruiting, HR, and Executive teams to determine research objectives. Follow project briefs and deliver frequent project updates. Develop and direct research assignments. Create a plan of action, set project goals, and manage to completion. Conduct detailed research of intended subject matter according to business needs. Develop and implement models and algorithms to extract meaningful insights. Design and execute research plans and data collection methods. Create visualizations and dashboards to communicate complex research data insights effectively. Prepare and present research findings, analysis results, and data-driven recommendations to stakeholders. Formulate effective and efficient research processes. Identify market trends and patterns. Design surveys, questionnaires, polls, etc. specific to research requirements. Test research methodologies to confirm the intended purpose of evaluation. Perform fieldwork, interviews, experiments, concept tests, etc. to gather data. Utilize various professional sources to find and extract pertinent information. Perform evaluative analysis of selected resources and current market data. Organize and maintain research databases. Frequently self-audit work and check data for errors and inconsistencies. Compile and organize findings in graphs, charts, mock-ups, and diagrams. Document, report, and present research findings to management and clients Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field. A minimum of 3 years of experience in statistical data analysis, predictive modeling, and research methodologies. Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for creating impactful visualizations. Experience in Power BI and Advanced Excel. Experience with SQL, data manipulation, and database management. Knowledge of research methodologies, survey design, and data collection techniques. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex datasets. Objective and ethical research skills Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment. Ability to analyze complex datasets, identify patterns, and derive actionable insights.
