Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following and other duties as assigned.Primary DutiesLeads and supports the company's safety values and culture.Act as liaison between plant management and corporate headquarters for Human Resources related topics.Perform full life cycle recruiting including sourcing, screening, selecting, hiring, and onboarding.Conduct new employee orientations, stay interviews, exit interviews, and aid/support for disciplinary procedures as needed.Leads the CR Campus' engagement committee to foster positive relationships and improve employee engagement.Ensure legislative compliance in such areas as I-9's, poster compliance, minors, wage and hour, for cause substance abuse testing and annual audits.Manages and leads the plant temporary recruitment activities.Possess a proficiency in leveraging various recruiting technologies (CRM, ATS - ideally UKG, Boolean, LinkedIn and other social media tools) to market and find the best active and passive candidatesProvides analytics and recruitment KPI data.Maintain knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations, affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures and reporting are in compliance.Coordinates and attends career fairs to build employer brand and attract qualified candidates.Develop, oversee, and maintain controlled documents for HR related functions.Serves as an employee advocate, balancing fair labor standards, company policies and practice and business needs.Ensures compliance with & integration of EEOC requirements into HR and business practices.Responsible for records management including personnel records, medical records, training records and the organization and legal requirements of materials stored in company archives. Ensure accurate employee records and proper completion of all related forms and paperwork.Establishes and maintains a strong working relationship with business line and/or corporate management and employees.Facilitates compensation reporting to necessary parties, which may include workers compensation claims, unemployment claims or other legal entities.Serve as site liaison for benefits including open enrollment, leave of absences, and new hire enrollment.Effectively supports minor to moderately complex employee investigation matters.Support in the planning and coordination any company sponsored events, social functions, and facility tours.Supervisory Responsibilities

Education / Experience

A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Management or appropriate discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience required; three years + related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Previous recruiting experience, as well as the proven ability to interact and recruit at all levels of the organization requiredStrong understanding of federal, state and local employment laws, regulations and statutes necessaryPHR Certification or MBA highly preferredPrior experience working with applicant tracking systemsKnowledge of HR laws, policies and procedures with an understanding of state and federal legal compliance requirementsAbility to effectively evaluate talents, values and attitudes (in addition to skills and experience) in order to make appropriate selection decisions.Computer SkillsRequires developed office skills, computer experience and competence in using current office software.Advanced word processing, spreadsheet and database skill required of Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, Access and e-mail) strongly preferred.Language Skills

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Proficiency in a second language preferred but not required - Spanish or French.Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.Reasoning Ability

Ability to be CPR/First Aid certified required.

Must hold valid driver's license.
