Job Purpose or Objective:
The Senior Social Media Manager oversees the development of all social media content, campaigns, and strategies for all (commerce) social media platforms driving the marketing and communications strategy. This associate will architect the integrated strategy and guide tactical implementation across social media support channels. You will report to the Social Media Director.
Primary Tasks:
Develop the social support and roadmap, including setting a team vision, developing KPIs, designing scalable processes, setting, and achieving team goals across all commerce brand markets. Promote implementation of analysis while considering the needs of your team.
Understand specific social media needs and make recommendations on short and long-term strategies by identifying new trends and issues.
Instill an "always learning" culture within the team that emphasizes staying on top of industry and consumer trends, focusing on new platforms, and testing creative ideas to keep the brands at the forefront of social media development.
Oversee and strategize content calendars and posting schedules with Clients, Relationship Managers, Important partners, Senior Social Media Coordinator(s), and Social Media Coordinator(s) to ensure all Marketing and Communications social media campaigns and programs are completed.
Support incident management needs and guide social response in collaboration with executive, PR, and legal guidance.
Oversee and develop a social media team and seek out new opportunities to grow the brand.
Support the influencer program to help use social media-driven opportunities and make recommendations on how to grow and evolve the program.
Work with the social media manager to manage the department budget to meet expectations.
Perform other duties as may be assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Advertising, a related field, or four (4) years of relevant experience.
Exhibit knowledge and correct use of social media management tools. Knowledge of all digital platforms and their integration into traditional media.
Five (5) years of marketing-related experience in hospitality or a related industry, or experience managing multifunctions.
Five (5) years' experience managing multiple social media outlets from planning to execution phase.
