Assistant Vice President - Solution Architect - Supply Chain Consulting

The Solution Architect is a key member of our implementation team. A leader with deep system implementation experience, you will be the main point of contact between the client and our consulting team. The key role is to build out

capability, driving requirements gathering sessions, developing a proven design, and working with their teammates to execute a smooth implementation. The solution architect's process typically involves recommending the most appropriate technology for the client based on the architect's expertise. Typical responsibilities include:Responsibilities

•Provide the connection between our clients' strategic business leaders and Genpact SCM technical team by clearly communicating business functional issues.

•Advise clients on key architectural decisions concerning the platform and supporting technologies and conduct business processes and requirements analysis.

•Evaluate risks related to requirements management, business process definition, testing processes, internal controls, project communications, training, and organizational change management.

•Produce technical architectures, develop system requirements, identify resources, and estimate timelines for project completion.

•Develop client-ready deliverables related to requirement specification, process analysis, system-based and manual controls, functional design, and test plans.Qualifications we seek in you!Minimum Qualifications / Skills

•Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or other relevant technical degree; or equivalent work experience

•Proven experience developing, supporting, or implementing application software and building, packaging, and deploying Java or J2EE

•Proven database experience preferably using MS SQL Server, MySQL, or Oracle; or platform experience using Force.com.

Preferred qualification / Skills

•Experience in systems integration and ETL tools such as Informatica and Talend a plus, as well as experience with data mapping and systems integration

•Experience with JDBC, multi-threading, any MVC framework (Struts/Spring), Spring, JSP, Servlets, HTML, XML, or JavaScript and experience integrating to ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle

•Outstanding drive, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, and to immediately contribute to a team environment.

•Strong work ethic and high attention to detail, with a desire to learn.
