Work hours: 2nd shift (2:30pm - 12AM Monday thru Friday; 2:30pm - 11pm on Friday)
Job Description:Work with various equipment to perform the following functions:Mask... using proper protective tape to mask and unmask per work instruction.Sand... using proper equipment (Da or dotco sanding equipment) and appropriate sandpaper grit according surface preparationFill ... mix and apply various sealants and adhesives and ensure integrity per work instruction (process standards)Observe industry best practices for FOD, 5S, and material handling controls.Able to use a spray gun to spray various prime and top coat according to MIL -Spec.Paint... able to mix and prime and paint per our Finishing Standard.Ensure that you are following all safety requirements/PPE...such as safety glasses, steel toe shoes and face mask at all timePromote and facilitate lean manufacturing principles within an environment of continuous improvement.Maintain accurate records and manufacturing documentation.Ensure that all shop instruments and materials used are within calibration due datesInitiates proper procedures in coating materials to various surfaces sprayingTakes measures to ensure item is properly coated and meets surface protection requirementsRead and understand detailed blue prints and operation sheetsExceptional organizational skills & ability to manage multiple projects and assignmentStrong communication skills: interpersonal, presentation, oral and written.
Essential Functions:
SPRAY PAINT, MANUAL LABORRequirements: 2-5 years experience as a paint sprayer
Qualifications:
Be able to read and understand work instructions in EnglishRequires a High School Diploma or equivalent
