JOB SUMMARY: The Senior Events Manager will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of events within the health data management sector. This role involves managing high-profile, national industry tradeshows, conferences, and tailored client events, with a strong focus on both payer and provider segments. The ideal candidate will bring experience in the health tech industry, exceptional team leadership and organizational skills, and a proven track record of successful event management across various formats. Participate in and lead the work of subordinates.

JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Event Planning & Execution:
o Develop and implement comprehensive event strategies that align with company objectives and target key payer and provider segments.
o Plan, coordinate, and execute a variety of events, including major industry tradeshows, conferences, and bespoke client events.
o Manage all logistical aspects of events, including venue selection, vendor management, and on-site operations.
o Oversee the creation and distribution of event materials, such as agendas, presentations, and promotional content.
  1. Team Leadership & Management:
o Lead and mentor team members providing direction and support throughout the event planning and execution phases to support modernization and activation.
o Delegate tasks effectively, monitor team performance, and ensure high standards of work.
o Conduct regular team meeting prep meetings with details of event plans and expectations.
  1. Budget Management:
o Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions while maintaining high-quality standards.
o Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers to secure optimal rates and services.
  1. Stakeholder Engagement:
o Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including marketing, sales, and product teams, to align event objectives with business goals and industry trends.
o Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners, including sponsors, speakers, and industry experts.
  1. Post-Event Analysis:
o Evaluate event success through feedback and metrics, providing detailed reports and actionable insights for future events.
o Identify areas for improvement and implement best practices based on post-event analysis.
  1. Select, develop, and evaluate staff to ensure the efficient operation of department.
  2. Collaborate, coordinate, and communicate across disciplines and departments.
  3. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and requirements.
  4. Demonstrate Company's Core Competencies and values held within.

JOB SCOPE: The incumbent will oversee the planning, execution and management of high-impact industry events that align with the Company's strategic goals. He or she will be responsible for delivering unique, engaging experiences, targeting a variety of audiences across the healthcare industry in order to drive business impact and ensure brand consistency, risk mitigation and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in industry event management, possess strong leadership skills, and capable of driving cross-functional collaboration across various departments. This is a people management job with authority for all HR actions (hiring, firing, discipline, training, etc.)

COMPENSATION

The salary range for this position is $120-125K Specific offers take into account a candidate’s education, experience and skills, as well as the candidate’s work location and internal equity. This position is also eligible for health insurance, 401k and bonus opportunity.
