CISCO UCS PLATFORM MANAGEMENTStrong experience with wintel patchingVX RAIL, POWER FLEXAWS AND Azure - primaryExperience on VMware ESX 6.0, 7.0 and on V sphere would be preferable.VROPS and VRAWSUS, TaniumIIS 5 and 6 and diagnostic toolsWindows Clustering and troubleshootingBug Checking (Dump Analysis)Registry EditorPerformance MonitorRemote access toolsKVM -DSVIEW , ILO /RIB , RDPDNS, WINS, DHCPBackup TechnologiesGeneric
Strong understanding of VMWare - Dell power Flex environmentFirmware upgrades and OS/ Security patch update for network switches and storage applianceAdvanced knowledge and experience in OS and security patching using WSUS and Tanium,Strong Understanding of virtualization on VMWare technologyGood Understanding of MIM / AZURE / IntuneKnowledge in AD and ADFSHandling/ Setting/Configuring LPAR and HAGood hands-on Experience in diagnostics & troubleshooting of Linux environment.Administration and Troubleshooting of Windows 2003 servers, DHCP, DNS, IIS, ISA, Antivirus.Administration and Troubleshooting of Microsoft ISA Proxy Server.Implementation, administration of Active Directory and Group Policies.Sound knowledge on Installation and Administration of Windows Cluster.Working knowledge with generating/renewal of certificates.Operational support with flexibility for 24x7 supportActivities:
Capacity managementPlan, coordinate, and execute Windows OS and firmware maintenance.Outstanding verbal and written communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.Training/certification is a plus.Participate & run recovery drills once every quarter and restore it back to the production site which will include building backup server and restoring data.Report any hardware issue; coordinate any support/hardware issues.Run capacity planning report to understand the growth and make sure additional hardware is requested on time.Provide suggestions to increase security by bringing in additional software/hardware.
