The position offers growth, flexibility and a collaborative work environment. In this position you should have the following; excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels. Most important, demonstrate a high level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation. How you'll create opportunities in this IT Release Senior role: Deployment Tactics: Schedule and coordinate deployment of new applications and enhancements. Lead release deployments during scheduled maintenance windows. Research and evaluate leading release management practices, tools, and technologies to support recommendations and optimize release management efforts. Release Operation: Develop and maintain the IT Release Calendar, collaborating closely with IT Development teams from different portfolios across the organization to create a comprehensive view of all releases. Submit changes requests to formally document and schedule modifications to the application. Align the proposed changes with the approved maintenance windows outlined in the Change Management process and obtain the necessary approvals to proceed. Assist with the definition of the IT strategic direction for release management tools when needed. Play a key role in measuring and monitoring progress to ensure that application releases align with plans and expectations. Lead and coordinate go-live activities, including executing deployment plans and checklists. Conduct release readiness reviews, milestones reviews, and business go/no-go reviews. Communication and Collaboration: Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to ensure the seamless and reliable delivery of software and systems, meeting business objectives and supporting business processes. Work with executive team members, decision-makers, and stakeholders to define business requirements and systems goals achievable through release management enhancements. Partner with Change Management for awareness and support of release efforts ensuring compliance with their approved processes and procedures. Attend CAB to present changes and get approvals.
