JOB DESCRIPTION: S2 Analytical Solutions, a leading DoD / U.S. Intelligence Community consulting firm in Herndon, VA is seeking an experienced Proposal Solutions Architect. In this role, you will help customers solve demanding challenges via innovations in digital modernization and automation, mission engineering, architecture, cyber engineering, and mission operations. As part of a creative, forward-thinking team, you will help shape solutions to make the nation and world safer, healthier, and more efficient. As a Proposal Solution Architect, you will work hand-in-hand with business development, research and development, and other subject matter experts to analyze government RFPs and create written responses. This includes developing differentiated S2 solutions that can be easily understood and evaluated. In addition to developing solutions, you will help prospective customers and partners understand the value and benefits of the S2 solution, explain technical features and transformation strategies, engage in proof of concepts, and solve critical problems. Responsibilities: RESPONSIBILITIES: Analyze RFP instructions, PWS elements and evaluation criteria to develop innovative solutions that could include technical solutions, cost elements, BOEs and architectures. Develop tailored solutions for and author proposal volumes, request for information responses, and demonstrations. Partner with the Business Development team in supporting the shaping and development of technical solutions, basis of estimates, and industry relationships via responses to RFPs, new business reviews, white papers, customer shaping calls, and S2 Win Plan and to understand and participate in the development of new business strategy assessing current and future skills and technology needs. Create technology and solution roadmaps to improve mission enterprise capabilities resulting in improved customer and mission outcomes Evolve S2 systems engineering and IT lifecycle methodologies and tools. Establish S2 best practices, lessons learned, and technological approaches related to rapid production of secure, high-quality software technologies including Agile methods, SecDevOps, AI/ML, UI/UX, software modernization, Cloud Architecture and Cybersecurity. Establish S2 best practices, lessons learned, and technological approaches related to digital modernization and transformation technologies with emphasis on application of evolving Network technologies and approach to integrate into existing customer enterprises. Develop and lead architecture definition of Cloud Computing solutions (CSP, Private Cloud, SaaS) addressing the full lifecycle from early CONOPS, requirements development, technical planning, system integration, analysis of alternatives, verification and validation, design, build, cost, deploy, through sustainment.

Qualifications: REQUIRED SKILLS: Experience analyzing and responding to federal RFIs, RFQs and RFPs Bachelors degree and 12+ years of prior relevant experience in technical solution development in areas such as software development, Cloud, Information Systems, Cyber Security, or other STEM disciplines related to IT and/or systems engineering. Ability to author solutions and/or approaches addressing Government evaluation criteria, within page counts and formatting constraints Has been the lead Tech Volume writer on a $30M+ proposal Proven experience as a solution architect and/or technical section lead on captures and proposals Experience developing BOE/BOM for proposed solutions Understanding of modern Digital Modernization/delivery tools and approaches Ability to develop and/or evaluate new (i.e. disruptive) innovations/offerings and identify applicability to business/operational needs Federal Government industry awareness with leading technology providers to enhance and close gaps in solution offerings, yielding competitive technical solutions. Strong technical breadth and depth in support of the government markets, particularly in government software design, implementation, operations, and modernization. Experience integrating and formally describing solutions that incorporate state-of-the-art methods coupled with the creativity and intelligence in one or more areas such as machine learning, artificial intelligence, cloud infrastructure, software engineering, systems engineering, analytics/decision support, cybersecurity engineering, or robotic process automation/hyper-automation Must be able to collaborate across the corporation and with other technical SMEs, leveraging contacts to obtain key technical resources to continue technology exchange and enhancements. US citizenship is required and ability to obtain security clearance DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Masters degree Engineering degree Experience in formal engineering techniques such as Digital Engineering/Model Based Systems Engineering or Agile Software Engineering
