Fort Worth, TX company is seeking a Lead Developer to join their team for a contract opportunity.
Leverage the latest technology to solve business problems in a collaborative environment at this Fortune 500 transportation giant. Top technical resources are retained on long-term contract engagements.Responsible for leveraging cutting edge technology to solve business problems by participating in all phases of the development process from inception through transition, advocating the agile process and test-driven development, using object-oriented development tools to analyze, model, design, construct and test reusable objects, and making the codebase better.
Contract Duration: 3 Months
Required Skills & ExperienceBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training5 years software solution development using agile, DevOps, operating in a product model that includes designing, developing, and implementing large-scale applications or data engineering solutions.5 years data science/business intelligence/data analytics experience using common BI tools (PowerBI, Cognos, Tableau) and demonstrating SQL mastery.5 years of cloud development and data lake experience (prefer Microsoft Azure) including Azure EventHub, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure DevOps, Azure Blob Storage,Azure Data Lake, Azure Power Apps and Power BI.Combination of Development, Administration & Support experience in several of the following tools/platforms required:Scripting: Python, Spark, Unix, SQLData Platforms: Teradata, Couchbase,MongoDB, Oracle, SQL Server, ADLS, Snowflake Azure Data ExplorerAzure Cloud Technologies: Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Blob Storage, AzureData Lake, Azure Power Apps and Azure FunctionsCI/CD: GitHub, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, TerraformBI Analytics Tool Stack - Cognos, Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, Denodo, and GrafanaExpertise with the Azure Technology stack for data management, data ingestion, capture, processing, curation and creating consumption layers.Expertise in providing practical direction within the Azure Native cloud services.Desired Skills & Experience
