Software Developer
to work in Quantico, VA. Candidate must possess an active
Top Secret
clearance.
The Software Developer will be responsible for designing, maintaining, and implementing software designed around a specific set of requirements or to use particular methodologies required to meet specific procedural requirements. The candidate will design software tools that include system calls to other third-party tools and utilities specified. The Developer will design, maintain, and implement original software applications from a high-level, non-specific set of concepts provided by the Government client. The successful candidate will develop software and applications of large and complex software and systems, and web-based query and reporting systems.

Job Requirements:
Active Top Secret ClearanceAt least five (5+) years of experience in software development for systems in a production environmentExperience with multiple programming languages and frameworks, such as C#, Python, PowerShell, ASP.NET, SQL, XML, WSDL, and AngularExperience identifying technical strategies to interconnect disparate software applicationsAbility to design and author original software applications and programs from observation of desired outcomes, workflows, or from vague original conceptsAbility to produce specifications and design documentation, such as process flow, class diagrams, sequence diagrams, physical architecture, system and web service interface specifications, data dictionary, and data modelsExperience creating project work estimatesAble to implement solutions and identify operational or management issuesExperience with systems design, policy development, database development and management, and user interface developmentAbility to maximize the use of COTS softwareKnowledge of Information Security Systems (ISS) and security standards of sensitive dataKnowledge of the current FISMA Act of 2002Four-year degree program in software development, computer science, or related field; OR in lieu of education, 10 years of experience in software development for systems in a production environmentPreferred Skills:
Experience with deploying container-based solutionsExperience with HTML, JavaScript, Microservices Architecture
