Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: 5 day workweek
Summary
Perform deliveries and in-home installations. Must drive a company box truck and pull, prep and assemble high-end furniture. Help in the warehouse when needed.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Driving a box truck to make in-home deliveriesMaintaining a clean driving recordPrep and assemble furniture and accessories in a customer's homeReceive and process products and store in the correct warehouse locationMay operate forklift, dolly, pallet jack and reach truck using all safety equipmentPull transfers for all store and warehouse locations to loadLoading and unloading of trucks and containersFollow all safety and loss prevention proceduresLearn and use company software to update all transfers, receiving and inventory movesKeep warehouse clean, including bathroomsPermanent or temporary duties as assigned by supervisorRequirements
Experience driving a box truck, (minimum 6 months)Valid driver's license (3 years) and clean driving record to qualify to be insured by the companyCustomer Service mindset and communication proficiencyStrict adherence to all safety policies and proceduresAbility to lift 50+ lbsAbility to operate forklift and other warehouse equipment, plus scanning and computer equipmentReliability and PunctualityStrong team player with a positive 'can do' attitude and professional appearance1-year warehouse and furniture delivery experience preferredHigh School education or equivalent
