Required Skills & ExperienceBachelor's degree/University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Industrial Engineering10+ years as Senior Developer / Architect / Tech Lead within a distributed, service-based enterprise environment (financial institutions preferred)7+ years of experience with Java J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Web Services.Demonstrated experience in design and build out of building Enterprise level J2EE applications with messaging capabilities and web services.4+ years of experience with Kubernetes, Docker containers and Openshift platformsExperience in CI / CD pipelines using Jenkins, including automated testing tools like SeleniumPrevious experience producing written deliverable for technical designs.Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle and Release ManagementAbility to design, organize, and implement module, perform system testing, plan and automate tasks to maintain existing systemAbility to research and trouble-shoot application problemsDemonstrated leadership and project management skillsExcellent analytical and troubleshooting skillsAbility to balance multiple demands and work both independently and as part of a team to develop solutionsExtensive experience system analysis and in programming of software applicationsConsistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communicationDesired Skills & Experience
Experience with public / private / hybrid cloud.Experience with systems / applications in Risk technology for financial institutions.What You Will Be Doing
Hands-on development of system functionality involving integrations between system functions as well as identify and define necessary system enhancements to deploy new products and process improvements, partnering with multiple teams.Provide expertise in area and advanced knowledge of applications programming and ensure application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprint.Utilize advanced knowledge of system flow and develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation.Develop comprehensive knowledge of how areas of business, such as architecture and infrastructure, integrate to accomplish business goals.Provide in-depth analysis with interpretive thinking to define issues and develop innovative solutions.Resolve variety of high impact problems/projects through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards.Serve as technical advisor or coach to mid-level developers and analysts, allocating work as necessary.
