Position reports to the Process Improvement Department Manager. The purpose of the role is to improve the value of our products to the businesses we support and end users of our products through continuous improvement efforts in raw and indirect materials, processing specifications, equipment capabilities and associate competencies. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: • Products for Ranges have accurate specifications and are costed correctly • Quality losses on Ranges are tracked and focused improvement activities are current to reduce those losses. • Efficiency losses on Ranges involving processing methods and MED are identified and focused improvement activities are current to reduce those losses. • Quality Auditing is performed weekly on each range to verify that the quality management system is effective. • Owns Quality Maintenance • Auxiliary Equipment has accurate specifications and technical support. • Customer complaints on Ranges are investigated through root cause analysis and communicated to the business and customer • The Safety Process is supported through sub-committee participation and strategic initiative risk reduction • SAP and Barco support of all OPW products that run at Valway. • Timely disposition of Out Of Flow fabric. • Active involvement in Cross Functional Teams • Support Lab with audits and timely follows to failed testing • Cross Functional Abilities • Gain familiarity with manufacturing processes and business for support as needed.

Qualifications Required: Four year degree or equivalent manufacturing experience.
Qualifications Preferred: A minimum of 2 years work experience in Manufacturing Process Improvement.
