About the Role:
CrowdStrike is in search of a skilled Data Center Engineer to assist in integrating, configuring, and operating test lab hardware. This will include both hardware and software troubleshooting of consumer and enterprise hardware profiles. This role is hands-on, working with Engineering teams to assist with hardware and software issues within the test lab. The candidate must be experienced in data center best practices, Linux, Microsoft, and MacOS computer hardware components and networking.
We are currently open to candidates that are within a reasonable commuting distance to Las Vegas as this is an on-site role.
What You'll Do :
Participate in Server and Network deployments and upgrades within a Production Data CenterParticipate in Production infrastructure builds outsManage test lab hardware including laptops and desktops running Windows, Linux, and MacOSWork with Engineering team to troubleshoot hardware and software issuesConduct Server configuration & Layer 2 Network configurationParticipate in Server and Network deployments within a Production Data CenterTroubleshoot equipment, using command line tools, at various stages to identify & remediate issuesUtilize appropriate tools to install, configure, test and troubleshoot infrastructure nodesInstall hardware and integrate into Production infrastructureRun fiber optic and copper cabling to support growing infrastructureRemediate hardware issues using manufacturing documentation and engineering specificationsWhat You'll Need :
4+ years experience supporting Production Data CentersIndustry certifications a plus (e.g. CCNA, CompTIA+, Linux, etc.)Comfortable using a command line interfaceFamiliar with copper and optical cablingUnderstand power cabling and PDUs ("Power Distribution Units")#LI-Remote

The base salary range for this position in the U.S. is $65,000 - $115,000 per year + variable/incentive compensation + equity + benefits.
