Job Description
Insight global is looking for a lead Java developer for a large financial client in Omaha, NE, Berkeley Heights, NJ or Frisco, TX. The developer will be joining the government solutions organization that supports state, local and federal government projects. This team is responsible for the maitence and upgrades of several user facing and non-user facing electronic tax payment applications for the federal department of revenue. On a day to day basis this developer will be responsible for backend Java development as well as running vulnerability scans and mediations of any issues. Strong core knowledge of backend Java development is highly desired. This is a very collaborative team, and strong communications skills are a must. This position is onsite 5 days per week and the estimated pay rate is 70 80/hr depending on years of experience.

Skills and Requirements
5 -10 years of backend Java development experience preferably with Java 17
Experience with static scanning tools including Fortify
Experience with dynamic scanning tools including Sonatype and Webinspect
Experience with the Spring Framework including spring boot and spring security
Experience with object-oriented analysis and design using common design patterns
Proficient with technologies like HTML, JavaScript, CSS, JQuery
Prior experience with confluence and Jira Front End Development experience preferably Angular
Awareness of FedRAMP, FISMA, and/or Zero Trust Architecture strongly desired.
Prior experience with the Azure cloud
Experience with Azure DevOps for documentation null
