AERMOR is seeking a qualified candidate to join the team as a NetApp Administrator . The NetApp Administrator will manage and maintain NetApp storage systems to ensure high availability, performance, and security of data storage solutions. The selected candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of NetApp storage solutions while adhering to Navy IT policies and cybersecurity standards.
Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain NetApp storage systems, including hardware and software components.Configure and manage NetApp storage solutions, including SAN (Storage Area Network) and NAS (Network-Attached Storage).Implement and manage storage provisioning, data protection, and disaster recovery solutions.Monitor storage performance capacity, adjusting as needed to optimize efficiency and performance.Perform regular performance tuning and capacity planning to ensure storage systems meet operational requirements.Implement and manage backup and recovery solutions for NetApp storage systems.Conduct regular backups and test recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and availability.Ensure NetApp storage systems comply with Navy cybersecurity and industry standards.Implement security measures including data encryption, access controls, and auditing to protect critical data.Integrate NetApp storage systems with other IT infrastructure components, including servers and networks.Configure and manage storage protocols, such as iSCSI, NFS, and CIFS/SMB as required.Troubleshoot and resolve performance related issues, including bottlenecks and system failures.Conduct system upgrades and patches.Qualifications:
Proven experience with NetApp storage systems.Working knowledge of storage protocols (NFS, iSCSI, FC) and backup solutions.Experience with SAN and NAS environments, to include provisioning and management.Bachelor's degree in an IT related discipline AND four years of experience as described above; OR seven years of relevant experience as described above.
