AERMOR is seeking an experienced VMware Administrator
to manage and maintain the VMware infrastructure. This role entails the configuration and troubleshooting of VMware and supporting virtual machines.
Responsibilities:
Install configure and maintain VMware and related technologies.Perform updates and patches of VMware components.Manage, optimize, and monitor virtual machines, storage, and networking within the VMware environment.Troubleshoot performance issues in relation to the VMware environment.Implement and manage backup and disaster recovery solutions for virtual environments.Implement and enforce security controls, including access management and virtual machine isolation.Monitor system performance to include CPU, memory, and storage utilization.Perform capacity planning and recommend resource adjustments to optimize performance.Perform regular backups and ensure data integrity and recovery procedures are tested and effective.Configure and manage RBAC (role-based access control) and permissions.Respond to and resolve issues related to VMware promptly.
Qualifications:
Proven experience managing VMware and related environments.Working knowledge of virtualization concepts and technologies.Familiarity with backup and recovery solutions for virtualized systems.Excellent experience in troubleshooting and problem solving.Bachelor's degree in an IT related discipline AND 10+ years of experience as described above; OR 15+ years of relevant experience as described above.
