Location: 100% Remote (only CST and EST Candidates)
Duration: 6 months Contract to Hire

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential function listed below.Design, develop, implement, and support highly complex BI applications of strategic or functional importance including: integration with data sources; highly automated data refresh processes; best-in-class data visualizations, dashboards, and reports that communicate critical insights to drive decision makingRich experience in understanding the Data warehouses/Data marts.Execute roadmap of business focused BI initiatives with a clear understanding of all deliverables and associated deadlines.Expert in designing, developing Power BI DashboardsDevelop and maintain data management standards, and documentation of current data sources, raw data, data marts, transformations, and report specifications.Oversee data quality including validation, cleansing/scrubbing, ETL methods, etc.Participate in data integration, business intelligence (BI) and enterprise information management programs by rationalizing data processing to support reuse.Ensure best possible performance and quality in ETL packages, Stored Procedures and SQL.Performs additional duties and activities as required.Minimum Knowledge and Skills required by the Job:
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or abilities required to perform the job.
7+ years' experience in data warehouse/BI intelligence understanding, development. Significant experience as BI/DW process flow on several BI/DW initiativesData security at a macro and micro level (platform, row-level, encryption, etc.)Experience with Master Data Management, Data Governance, and/or Enterprise Information ManagementKnowledge of Azure tools and services centered around data and analytics (Data Lake, Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure SQL etc.) is a plus.Excellent understanding of Microsoft Power BI and other Microsoft BI platforms (SSRS, SSAS & SSIS)Expert in BI Report & Dashboard developmentExperience designing and building complete ETL processes moving and transforming data from ODS, Staging and Data WarehousingExperience with reporting and visualization tools (PowerBI & SSRS)Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in computer science or related field required.7 or more years' experience managing and designing systems in an enterprise infrastructure environment required.Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:
Vendor certification (Azure cloud, AWS cloud, etc.) preferred.
