Network Engineer IIROLEWe need a Network Engineer II for the Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Pacific. NIWC Pacific provides advanced technology and integrated solutions to support the mission of the U.S. Navy and other Department of Defense entities. Your role as a Network Engineer II for the NIWC Pacific will be to design, implement, and maintain robust network systems. This is a full-time opportunity. RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and configure network systems.Implement and maintain network infrastructure.Monitor network performance and ensure optimal operation.Troubleshoot and resolve network issues.Document network configurations and changes.
REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
5 years of professional experience in network engineering.Proficiency in network design, configuration, and troubleshooting.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
REQUIRED EDUCATION / CERTIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in network engineering or a related field.
DESIRED EDUCATION / CERTIFICATIONS
Currently hold a DoD CSWF IAT Level 1 certification OR all of the below baseline certifications;
A+ CECCNA-SecurityCNDNetwork+ CESSCP
OR;
Currently hold a DoD CSWF IAT Level 2 certification OR all of the below baseline certifications;
CCNA-SecurityCySA+GICSPGSECSecurity+ CECNDSSCP
LOCATION

CLEARANCE
Top Secret clearance required.Access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) required.Mandatory completion of SCI security training.
