DISHER is currently partnering with a logistics company that is a leading systems provider of highly dynamic, automated, and turnkey logistics solutions worldwide in their search for an LTS Applications Engineer. The Lifetime Services Applications Engineer works closely with the LTS Sales team to create material handling solutions for their customers. This role supports the local sales team from initial customer contact through project implementation.

What you will get to do:Design and create mechatronic material handling layouts in collaboration with the LTS Retrofit Team, from initial concept through final contract design, utilizing the in-house product portfolio and 3rd party equipment.Understand and interpret customer specifications and requirements for material handling systems within the project scope.Design and develop replacement hardware and redesign existing systems to meet modernization needs of customers.Design and develop expansion projects for existing systems.Apply engineering knowledge to perform performance calculations, ensuring that selected equipment meets specified target rates.Create mechanical costing quotations for high-level concept indications and final contract value, integrating them into total system pricing.Draw system adaptations and extension layouts in both 3D and 2D CAD.Handle project applications including modernization, facility expansions, and machinery retrofits, with a focus on existing implementations.What will make you successful:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering is preferredApplications engineering experience in materials handling environment preferredProficient in Excel, MSWord, PowerPointProficient in AutoCAD (2D), Sketchup or other 3D Design SoftwareWillingness to travel domestically up to 15-25% for training and customer support
