PLUS Communications, a public affairs firm based in Arlington, Virginia, is looking for an IT Support Specialist to join its growing team. The IT Help Desk Assistant will be responsible for maintaining IT processes and procedures for the 150+-person company.

Primary responsibilities:

Microsoft 365 Admin Center AdministrationProvide technical assistance and support for incoming IT requests and IT support issues related to computer systems, software, hardware and access to other corporate resources.Maintain Help Desk Ticket Management SystemRespond to support requests via:Over-the-phone supportScreen sharing or remote controlEmail supportLive chat supportAbility to walk end-users through problem-solving processWrite training standard operating procedures and conduct on demand end-user trainingOversee orders and maintain inventory of computers, hardware, software and related equipment and suppliesManage onboarding & off boarding process for end-user assets, software, and hardwareRequirements

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field requiredExperience in working with Office 365Working knowledge of jamf administrationTicket managementHigh level verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiencesComfortable working and communicating with individuals at all levels and with various vendors and contacts outside of the firmAbility to maintain the highest degree of confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information
