Position: SDETLocation: New York CityRoles and Responsibilities - JD QA/QE
Specialist in the testing of BFSI and others product applications or solutions.The Test Architect /SDET Lead is responsible for designing test strategy, setting the direction for testing, and carryout due diligence for automation.Provide QA/QE technical leadership, prepare Test Plan and Strategy.Provide leadership for test design and guidance during test specification development.Mentor and coach, participate in team meetings, and create Intellectual Capital assets for reuse.Lead test best practices implementation and testing digital transformationReview and approve test plans and test designs (prepared by test team and technical leaders)Interface with development architecture teams (IA, ECM, UX and vendor)Represent QA in architecture, design and requirements inspectionsProvides technical advice and assistance to project management teamAct as liaison to Development and Support teamsEnsure that all the QA teams follow a common test methodology using common best practices, tools and test approachCooperates in product quality assessment and analysisShould have 12 - 15 years of experience in analysis, design and implementation of Test Automation in Agile development programsShould be an SME in agile methodology and implementation experience in Should have over 8 years of test automation experience including designing & implementing frameworks for functional and non-functional testing scopeShould have deep knowledge in at least two business domains: Banking and Finance, Insurance, Travel and Transport, Telecom, Healthcare etc.Should have good experience in using automation tools like Selenium, BDD Cucumber, Java spring boot, BDD API Karate, Playwright, Cypress Frameworks development, mock API, SOAP UI Pro, Tricentis, JMeter, CA blaze meter, Java-Mockito, and Rational Service Virtualization toolsExperienced in designing test solutions for cloud migration and native cloud development systems, Good exposure/certified Azure, AWS and GCP cloud automation architect and exposure to CI-CD integration to cloud servicesShould have working experience in integrating with CI servers like JenkinsHaving a certification as agile practitioner is goodShould have excellent presentation & communication skills.
