Overview

Connection Services has a fantastic opportunity through our Technical Services division. We are seeking a skilled and motivated AWS Cloud Engineer to join our team remotely. An AWS Cloud Engineer is responsible for designing, deploying, and managing applications and infrastructure within the Amazon Web Services (AWS) environment within the organizations accounts.

Responsibilities

Experience:

Drafting and reviewing architectural designs to ensure they meet business requirements.Writing and reviewing code for cloud infrastructure and automation scripts.Participating in meetings with stakeholders to discuss project requirements and progress.Creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation for cloud architectures and processes.Conducting training sessions for team members on cloud technologies and best practices.Create scalable, reliable, and fault-tolerant systems on AWS and provide support in a fast paced 24x7 environment.Move complex, multi-tier applications to AWS.Choose appropriate AWS services based on application requirements.Implement strategies to control costs.Improve and maintain existing cloud infrastructure.Work with developers to optimize applications for the cloud.Automate deployment and configuration processes.Ensure cloud architecture meets compliance standards.Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issuesDocument technical specifications, procedures and policies for all action and events performed within position space.Min

Qualifications

Skills:

AWS Expertise: 5+ years of In-depth knowledge of AWS services like EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc working in similar roles.Cloud Architecture: Ability to design scalable, secure, and reliable cloud solutions.Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Proficiency with tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.Skills in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) are often preferred.
