Level 3 / Level 4 skilled Storage Engineer to lead the Storage space under the Data Center Operations towerDesign and implement a new solution in the Storage environment5 to 8 years of Storage experience in NetApp, Pure Storage and SAN SwitchesCandidate should have a strong knowledge on Storage Architecture who can provide best solutions to the customer.Hands-on experience on Storage migration, upgrades, and replications etc.,Ability to suggest and implement Automation, Industry best practices and standards.Strong knowledge of monitoring and alerting solutions for proactive issue identificationStrong skills in NetApp, Pure, SAN, NAS, and Brocade switchesHands-on experience in Storage zoning and SAN port provisioningTroubleshooting experience with Storage, SAN, NAS Connectivity, and performance issuesAdministration experience in the storage of multiprotocol environments like CIFS and NFS with NetAppExperience with disaster recovery and data replication technologiesPlanning and performing maintenance activities, upgrades, migration, etc. Could Haves:Basic VMware vSphere 5.0 and higher skillsBasic Networking skills Nice to Have:NetApp / Pure CertificationsKnowledge of Linux Operating systemsPowerShell, Ansible, or Python Scripting Communication and Collaboration:Serve as a subject matter expert and escalation point for storage technologiesWork with vendors to resolve storage issuesExcellent verbal/written communication, collaboration, and analytical skillsCommunicate with customers and internal team with transparencyWork across technical teams to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issuesProvide enterprise-level operational support for incident, problem, and change management activitiesAssess customer environments for performance and design issues and propose resolutions Documentation and Training:Create and maintain detailed documentation, SOPs, and RunbooksCompletion of training and certification as assigned to further skills and knowledge On-call and Offshore Support:Participate in on-call rotation and co-ordinate with Offshore support.Additional Information:
