We are seeking an experienced
Purchasing Agent
to join our dynamic team in the industrial manufacturing sector. As a
Purchasing Agent , you will be responsible for sourcing and procuring high-quality materials and equipment at the best possible prices to support our manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities:Develop and execute procurement strategies that support business objectives and ensure timely delivery of materials and equipmentManage relationships with existing suppliers and identify new vendors to ensure a reliable supply chainConduct research and analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and negotiate contracts with suppliersMonitor inventory levels and coordinate with production and logistics teams to optimize material usage and minimize wasteCollaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate supply chain risksEnsure compliance with company policies, procedures, and legal requirements related to procurementQualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related fieldAt least 3-5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in an industrial manufacturing environmentStrong negotiation, communication, and analytical skillsProficiency in using procurement software and toolsAbility to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple prioritiesKnowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements
