Job Overview :

The Sr. Network Engineer is responsible for managing the daily operations of the corporate and store networks, including network design, network implementation, fault management and service management. This Team Member will share the responsibility for the quality of the network, including network planning, implementation, and security. The Sr. Network Engineer will perform maintenance and configuration tasks, as well as troubleshoot and resolve network communication issues. Due to the nature of the work, this person may be required to support emergency situations on 24x7 basis.

Expected Salary Range:$100K -$120K

The salary range offered for this position is a good faith description of the expected salary range this role will pay. PCHI reserves the right to pay more or less than the stated range based on a variety of factors such as experience, geography, etc.

FLSA Working conditions:

The role is a hybrid status role with three (3) days/week onsite in Woodcliff Lake, NJ office.Requirements

Responsibilities and Duties:

Assist in design, implementation, and troubleshooting / remediation networks across all PCHI facilities, including corporate locations world-wide, manufacturing and distribution centers, and retail stores.Provide networking support to projects as needed.Maintain networking equipment, applications, services, and settings.Develop and monitor policies for the use of network resources.Design and implement resilient networks and systems, which eliminate single point of failures and keep the infrastructure up and operational.Implement monitoring and alerting in all systems such that issues are alerted and resolved before they become incidents. When incidents do occur, our monitoring and alerting quickly identifies root cause and affect timely resolution.Implement and manage disaster recovery and back-up.Ensure the networking infrastructure meets the PCHI security standards.Create technical support documentation for systems and applications.Provide on-going support and troubleshooting in a 24 x 7, on-call environment.Manage relationship and deliverables from vendors and third party partners.Any other duties as assigned by the manager.Skills Required:

5+ years of network administration experience.Hands-on network engineering experiences with strong background in configuring, troubleshooting and supporting Cisco routers, switches, Access Points, firewalls and other technologies.Expertise in MPLS, DIA, and P2P networks including routing protocols such as BGP, EIGRP and OSPFExperience with network design, configuring and troubleshooting WAN / LAN, Layer 2 / 3, site to site VPN, QoS, DNS, TCP / IP protocols, IPv4 / 6.In-depth experience with PCI standards, network security, DDoS, Intrusion Prevention Detection solutions, Proxy (FTP, Web), Authentication (IKE, RADIUS) and 802.11 standards.Experience with Application Delivery Controller (ADC) such as NetScaler and/or F5.Strong understanding of virtualization technologies with VMware, ESXi, vSphere 5.x, vCenter, and Citrix XenServer.Understanding of Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, LDAP, and Group Policies preferred.Proven network engineering, operations, and performance analysis skills,Hands-on technical troubleshooting capabilities.Ability to work independently under minimal supervision.Knowledge of computing infrastructures.Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving ability.Proficiency with scripting languages.Strong interpersonal skills to assist non-technical individuals with complex technical issues.Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science; or 10 years of experience as an Network Engineer.One or more certification in the following: CCNA, CCNP, CCIE and CCAr.Ability to identify, select and manage third-party service providers.Ability to fully understand business goals and metrics, turn data into insight, and translate requirements into actionable work efforts to achieve intended outcomes.Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects.Problem-solving skills: listening to, interpreting, and meeting the needs of others; define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions; diagnosing and rectifying problems.Ability to present and communicate technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.Ability to communicate technical issues to non-technical users in both one-on-one and group situations.Ability to guide individuals and groups toward desired outcomes, setting high performance standards and delivering leading quality services to our customers.
