Job Title: Senior Engineer, Test Automation

Position Overview
We are looking for a Senior Test Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and oversight of automated test development. In addition, the candidate will assist in the design and implementation of automated test strategies and processes to ensure a high standard of reliable automation and quality of software products.
Responsibilities
Design and develop automated test scripts using Python based framework, open-source tools Work closely with software engineers to identify, thoroughly document, and resolve defects Cross functional collaboration with manual QA engineers, software developers, and Systems engineers to design and develop non-functional automation Maintain existing automated test codebases(s) and repositories Lead and participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and compliance with best practices Assist in the ideation and introduction of new test methodologies, strategies, and processes Provide feedback to development teams to improve product quality and mitigate future issues Participation in product design, data analysis, and requirement review activities Required Leadership/Interpersonal Skills & Behaviors
Excellent problem-solving, analytical skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team Excellent time management skills Strong ability to multitask and prioritize tasks Mentorship of mid-level test automation engineers Required Skills and Competencies
Proven experience in automated test development Expert programming skills of Python (required) and other languages, hands on experience with test automation frameworks Understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON data format Familiarity in Continuous Integration, Continuous Development Systems such as Jenkins Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SLDC) Experience in requirements traceability, test planning, execution, and reporting activities Proficiency with source control tools and applications Proficiency with defect tracking applications Familiarity with Agile methodologies and processes Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other related field 5+ years' experience in automated test design and development 5+ years' experience functional and non-functional testing 3+ years' experience leading test automation focused projects or teams Additional Information
NOTE: This position is eligible for hybrid working arrangements (requires on-site work from an Insulet office at least 1x/week; may work remotely other days). #LI-Hybrid Travel is estimated at 10% but will flex depending on business needs.
Additional Information: The US base salary range for this full-time position is $86,900.00 - $130,550.00. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position in the primary work location in the US. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
