Job Title: Senior Engineer, Test Automation

Position Overview
We are looking for a Senior Test Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and oversight of automated test development. In addition, the candidate will assist in the design and implementation of automated test strategies and processes to ensure a high standard of reliable automation and quality of software products.
Responsibilities
Design and develop automated test scripts using Python based framework, open-source toolsWork closely with software engineers to identify, thoroughly document, and resolve defectsCross functional collaboration with manual QA engineers, software developers, and Systems engineers to design and develop non-functional automationMaintain existing automated test codebases(s) and repositoriesLead and participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and compliance with best practicesAssist in the ideation and introduction of new test methodologies, strategies, and processesProvide feedback to development teams to improve product quality and mitigate future issuesParticipation in product design, data analysis, and requirement review activitiesRequired Leadership/Interpersonal Skills & Behaviors
Excellent problem-solving, analytical skillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work independently or collaboratively within a teamExcellent time management skillsStrong ability to multitask and prioritize tasksMentorship of mid-level test automation engineersRequired Skills and Competencies
Proven experience in automated test developmentExpert programming skills of Python (required) and other languages, hands on experience with test automation frameworksUnderstanding of RESTful APIs, JSON data formatFamiliarity in Continuous Integration, Continuous Development Systems such as JenkinsUnderstanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SLDC)Experience in requirements traceability, test planning, execution, and reporting activitiesProficiency with source control tools and applicationsProficiency with defect tracking applicationsFamiliarity with Agile methodologies and processesEducation and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other related field5+ years' experience in automated test design and development5+ years' experience functional and non-functional testing3+ years' experience leading test automation focused projects or teamsAdditional Information
NOTE: This position is eligible for hybrid working arrangements (requires on-site work from an Insulet office at least 1x/week; may work remotely other days). #LI-HybridTravel is estimated at 10% but will flex depending on business needs.
Additional Information:The US base salary range for this full-time position is $86,900.00 - $130,550.00. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position in the primary work location in the US. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
